Crystal Serenity Penthouse with Verandah
We stayed in the Crystal Serenity Penthouse with Verandah while aboard our Mediterranean cruise in May 2018. This 367 square foot luxury stateroom provided all the comfort and luxury that you would expect from an exceptional cruise line such as Crystal Cruises.

Upon entering the room we were immediately impressed by the brightness of the room and the layout.

As you enter the Crystal Serenity Penthouse with Verandah, there is a double sided desk in front of you just to the right that also serves to separate the room from the entrance and bathroom/walk-in closet area and the rest of the stateroom.

As you pass by the desk you are presented with a large bedroom area with a Queen sized bed (extremely comfortable!), a couch with a coffee table and chair.

To the right of the bed was a large flat screen TV as well as additional storage space.

The bathroom in the Crystal Serenity Penthouse with Verandah is just wonderful. It had more than enough room for two people to share the space and having the jacuzzi bathtub and shower (with great water pressure!) separated proved to be very convenient in getting ready on those early mornings with excursions to get to.

Double sinks were also a very welcomed touch.

The bathroom amenities were Etro from Italy.

The Crystal Serenity Penthouse with Verandah also, as the name clearly suggests, has a wonderfully large balcony from which we were always excited to step out onto in the mornings to view the new port of the day or to watch the the scenery as we cruised along the Mediterranean Sea.

For storage, the stateroom provided more than enough space. We traveled with 3 large suitcases and a carry-on. We were able to unpack everything into the closet and drawers and all 4 pieces of luggage fit under the bed and out of the way.

Having fully explored our stateroom and completed unpacking, it was time for us to relax with some of the amenities that were waiting for us upon arrival.
The room came supplied with a bottle of welcome aboard champagne (seen in earlier photos above), chocolates and fruit that were replenished daily.

There was of course a mini-bar that was free as part of the all-inclusive nature of our cruise, as well as coffee, tea, water, and a bottle of wine. There were even a set of Bushnell binoculars for us to use during our cruise.

Having fully explored our room, we were now ready to explore our ship, the Crystal Serenity. This will be the topic of my next blog.
