Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea
The Four Seasons Resort Maui is an absolutely gorgeous resort that provides a purely luxurious experience. This is enhanced by a fantastic array of activities, restaurants, pools, and a beautiful beach ensuring that no matter what you are looking for, you will find it on their property. All of this was fully complimented by the attentive staff who excel at making their guests feel relaxed and welcomed.
My blog on the Four Seasons Resort Maui will be divided into 3 parts to limit the length of the blog. This installment will focus on our arrival at the property and our room.
Upon arrival at the front entrance we were warmly greeted by the staff who welcomed us with a lei and a refreshing ginger and lemon drink along with pieces of pineapple.
As we arrived a little before check-in, we were provided access to the early arrival lounge where we were able to change into our swimsuits and wait by the pool (more on the pools in another blog) while waiting for our room to be ready. The bellman came to the lounge to collect our bags and would have them waiting in our room for us.
We were notified by text that our room was ready. We were ecstatic to discover that we had been upgraded to an Ocean View Premier Suite which was approximately 130m2 in size (1,400 square feet). It had a fantastic view of the ocean over a peaceful garden from our spacious balcony.

A little while after settling into our room, our Welcome Amenities arrived.
We had requested that we receive beer and were thrilled to receive samples from the Maui Brewing Co., it was great to taste some local flavour. Accompanying the beer were some non-alcoholic drinks and a large amount of fruits and snacks including cookies and different assortments of macadamia nuts.
Our suite had 2 bathrooms. The one below was closer to the front entrance.
The bathrooms had Lokahi brand amenities, including (and much needed) After-Sun Cooling Gel,
The bedroom was extremely spacious and equipped with a television, seating area, and access to the balcony.
The balcony ran the entire width of our suite with entrances off of the living room and bedroom. It also had 2 separate seating areas.
The closet for the bedroom was located in the small hallway leading to the master bathroom.
It had ample room for both of us. It included a safe, iron and ironing board, umbrella (thankfully not needed), and a yoga mat.
The light blue bag in the closet was there for us to use to bring items to the pool or beach. If we wanted to, we could purchase the bag for $90 USD.

Needless to say, our suite was amazing and easily one of the nicest rooms we stayed in while in Hawaii. The bed was extremely comfortable and the suite was extremely luxurious in every way. The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is definitely on our list of properties to visit again.
